Private residence in Jurmala

The interior of this house tells a story about skilful merging of elegance, traditions, and modern design. Choosing Molteni quality and style and supplementing them with a fine selection of objects, materials, and ornaments, the house for its owners has turned into a harmonic and beautiful day-to-dayness.

An accent of an ascetic living-room is created by Gino Sarfati 2097-3050 lamp by Flos. This luminary was first designed in 1958 and at that time represented a highly extraordinary and modern approach, which was very different from other classic lamps. Nowadays, after more than fifty years, the lamp has turned into an essential design icon which stands out of fashion and time. A living-room of the house is decorated with a set of showcases (45-Vitrina) by Tel-Aviv designer Ron Gild and is definitely noteworthy. A way of object demonstration seems to be traditional but actually is ascetic and very modern. The famous saying “God is in the details” would be highly applicable to these showcases: all brittle wood facets are designed under an elegant 45 degree angle. Glass shelves embed additional lighting: a thin LED line is nearly unnoticeable to an eye and creates an effect of an ambient lighting.

A classical and stylish kitchen unit is complemented by Molteni 45 Tavolo and Outline chairs which just like previously mentioned design objects also stand for masterpieces of quality and details.

The project was accomplished in winter 2015. The project includes: Molteni corpus and upholstered furniture, Flos and Ligne Roset luminaries, Olivari door fittings.
